CANDLES

Initial Burn
For the first burn, allow the candle to create a full and even wax pool across the surface. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn for future use.

Trim the Wick
Before each use, trim the wick to about ¼ inch to promote a clean and steady flame. Long or uneven wicks can cause excessive smoke, soot, and uneven burning.

Burn in a Safe Area
Always burn candles on a stable and heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials and out of the reach of children or pets. Avoid drafts, which can affect the candle's performance and cause uneven burning.

Avoid Long Burn Times
It's recommended to burn candles for no more than 4 hours at a time. Exceeding this timeframe may lead to overheating of the container or candle, potentially causing damage.

BOARDS

Handwashing
Gently hand wash your serving board with warm water and mild dish soap. Avoid submerging it in water or using abrasive cleaners that can damage the wood or the engraving.

Drying
After washing, promptly dry the board with a clean cloth or towel. Avoid leaving it to air dry or soaking in water, as this can cause warping or cracking.

Oil Treatment
To maintain the beauty and longevity of the wood, periodically apply a food-safe mineral oil or beeswax conditioner.

Avoid Extreme Temperatures
Protect your board from extreme temperatures. Do not put in the dishwasher.

Avoid Cutting on the Engraved Surface
While the engraved side adds a beautiful touch, it's best to use the opposite side for cutting and food preparation. This helps preserve the integrity of the engraving and ensures a longer lifespan for the board.
